"What a nice treat to find this old style breakfast place in Koh Pha Ngan. You have to go there early in the morning to have the “complete” experience, as they run out pretty quickly of their delicious hot and crispy dough fritters that go well with their fish porridge or with the thai coffee. We went there twice to try the fish soup and porridge. Both are smooth, flavourful and an energising breakfast that helps kickstart your day!"

"Super good food and cheap prices, open until 4 or 5 pm. Women who run the place are very nice, and meals are 50B to start, thai iced tea 20B.. Highly recommended! Probably the best food for the money I've eaten in two weeks all over the island."

"The last time I came to Ko Phangan was more than 20 years ago and I was concerned the food situation may have developed like on most of the other big tourist island: bland, westernized, expensive. What a delight to find this authentic joc, khao tom and cafe bolan place. My regular breakfast stop!!!!"
